Diabetes Health
Diabetes Health Thunder Bay supports this community by providing all aspects of diabetes education for people with newly diagnosed diabetes as well as those who need more help with their diabetes management. We also do work for prevention of diabetes in those people who are considered high risk.
We support an annual camp for children with diabetes Camp Firefly. The camp is run through volunteers and local fundraising. This camp makes camping available to children who could not go to a camp in southern Ontario because of barricades such as cost and distance.
