St. Joseph's Care Group
Individual grief counselling and support are offered by the Hospice Social Worker for anyone who has had a loved one die on the Hospice or Palliative Care Unit.

Compassionate Friends
Offers both individual and a group support venue for parents who have experienced the loss of a child or older offspring.

Supportive Care Service of the North-western Ontario Cancer Centre
Offers a six-week grief support group for anyone who has experienced the death of a loved one. Individual grief support is available for people who have had a loved one die of cancer. A children's group is offered for children who have a family member living with cancer or have experienced a death of a family member from cancer.

New Connections Group
Offers a support group to people who are past the initial grief period. The group offers opportunities to meet and socialize with other bereaved persons who have experienced the death of a spouse.

Meetings are held on the second Thursday of the month at 11:30 a.m. At the 55 Plus Centre. The group meets for lunch followed by a general meeting. (No meetings in July or August).
Hospice Northwest Volunteers
Offers grief support by phone, or in person, by trained volunteers. A volunteer will visit in the bereaved person's home if needed.
