Bethammi Nursing Home was constructed in 1979 at St. Joseph's Heritage.
The home supports a full range of programs and services, providing care to elderly, physically-disabled adults, those afflicted with Alzheimer's and dementia as well as the frail with high-intensity medical needs.

Each resident is offered a place to call his/her own and a warm home environment where people share and care. We believe that each person's individuality must be respected and, therefore, decisions about the resident's daily life will be made with him/her, not for him/her.
It is our belief that independence is a desirable human quality that fosters a sense of well-being. For this reason, each resident will be encouraged and helped to attain the highest level of independence and self-care that is possible for him/her to achieve.
We believe that a function of our nursing home is to so improve the physical and mental health of the residents, that some of them will be able to return to their homes.
Our philosophy of care recognizes the value of a cooperative group effort by members of various disciplines. Families, friends and volunteers from the community are considered integral members of our Health Team.
The personal growth and satisfaction of staff members through their work is fundamental to our beliefs. We consider that the provision of a comprehensive orientation program, continuing education and recognition for individual and group efforts help to promote satisfaction. We believe that each member of our staff contributes through knowledge, skills, experience and personal attributes to the quality of care provided at Bethammi.
