Extensive Services
Our 30 bed unit is located on the 5th floor of St. Joseph’s Hospital. The unit consists of 26 Extensive Services beds and 4 Geriatric Assessment Beds. Clients admitted to the Extensive Services bed have been hospitalized with a recent or chronic illness that requires further hospitalization. Clients may be transferred internally to another service if they require further rehabilitation or hospitalization. Clients admitted to the Geriatric Assessment beds will be provided with a comprehensive geriatric assessment and treatment plan. Both services provide a client-centered interprofessional team approach.
