Audiology & Hearing Aid Services

This service is located on the main floor of the St. Joseph’s Hospital site and provides complete audiology and hearing aid services to both children and adults. We have two audiologists, an audiometric technician and a hearing instrument practitioner working within this service.

This service is available to inpatient and outpatient clients with a suspected hearing loss, suspected auditory nerve anomalies or those requiring a hearing aid or assistive listening device. Hearing aid sales, battery sales and repairs are offered. St. Joseph’s also provides audiology services on a bi-monthly basis to Marathon and Geraldton.

To access Audiology, a physician referral is required. It can be mailed to St. Joseph’s Care Group or faxed to the Hospital's Central Registration

This outpatient service is offered Monday to Friday, with some extended hours.
