Our Mascot

Benny Birch is the mascot of St. Joseph's Heritage. Every June, we celebrate his birthday with a big, outdoor Party. We have lots of good food, rides, games and entertainment for the whole family to enjoy. Local service clubs and charities and some commercial booth holders come and help us raise money by selling everything from candy floss to hot dogs to crafts. Groups donate part of their profits to help buy equipment and furniture for Bethammi Nursing Home.

In 2006, Benny is celebrating his 25th birthday on June 9, 10 & 11 at Chippewa Park. Bus service is available with Thunder Bay Transit.

• Children 3 years and under: FREE
• Special 25th Anniversary Rate: Saturday & Sunday from 10am to 12 noon only $0.25
