Vision
The Research Department will support, develop, and conduct research to create new knowledge in the areas of: Complex Care, Physical Rehabilitation, Mental Health, Addictions, and Long Term Care with a particular focus on prevention and treatment issues. A key function of the Research Department is to effectively disseminate this knowledge to relevant stakeholders.
Objectives
- Conduct research and create new knowledge relevant to St. Joseph's Care Group's key programs and services in collaboration with other academic and healthcare organizations.
- Enhance research capacity within St. Joseph's Care Group and disseminate research findings through an enhanced communication plan.
- Work with clinical staff and managers to evaluate the programs and the services provided to clients.
