The Research Department, at St. Joseph’s Care Group, will be hosting “Making a Difference: 2007 Showcase of Applied Research”, on February 16, 2007. The Showcase will be held at Lakehead Psychiatric Hospital – St. Joseph’s Care Group. The objectives of this event are:
- To showcase research relevant to the programs and services provided by SJCG;
- To provide a forum for the dissemination of research findings;
- To facilitate research uptake in clinical practice; and
- To foster the opportunity for networking and research partnerships.
This is a call for researchers to submit abstracts for paper and poster presentations (see the attached forms). We welcome submissions from researchers working both within our organization and the community who are conducting research in areas relevant to the programs and services provided by SJCG. Emerging researchers are strongly encouraged to submit an abstract. The deadline for the submission of abstracts is December 15, 2006.
